What we collect

BioArva has no accounts, no sign-up, no email list, and no checkout. Using the Field Book does not require a name, email address, or mailing address. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Your Field Book stays in this browser

The Field Book saves your beds, records, notes, and the ZIP code you enter in this browser's storage on your device. Photos are resized and stripped of embedded data, including GPS location, in your browser before they are saved there. None of it is sent to BioArva. When the frost reference is on, your browser loads a static file named for the first three digits of your ZIP code; the full ZIP code is not sent.

Deleting your record

Delete everything in the Field Book removes your record and photos from this browser. Clearing browser data, private browsing, or switching devices also loses the record; the PDF export is the copy you keep. There is nothing on our side to delete.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to count page views and a few in-app actions. It sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses. No advertising trackers.

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel, which handles standard request information, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages.

Sharing and outbound links

We don't sell or share personal data. Supplier listings, when any exist, are described at /about/suppliers; a site you reach through an outbound link has its own privacy policy. Questions: hello@bioarva.com.
